Looking for a Tool
A friend of mine got moisture in his hydraulic clutch over the winter and he needs a specific tool to fix it. If anyone has or knows where to get a J36221 tool to release the hydraulic clutch line please let me know.....

I think that is a Kent-Moore tools number. You should be able to find their phone number online.

Just use a long pair of needle nose pliers to reach up and depress the plastic ring, piece of cake. I've never used anything else.
I just reread your post and you say your friend has moisture in his clutch and he needs to seperate the line ???
Those 2 things do not add up, what is the car doing, is the clutch pedal sticking to the floor?

In case anyone else is looking for an alternative to the J 36221 tool, this one from NAPA (3413) worked great for me. Under $10.
