All good advice. The biggest culprit is the crap up in the radiator.

This is the first vehicle I've ever had that deposits bugs on the garage floor regularly.

They fall from the very top of the ac cooling coils as the engine cools down.

You think the spiders would go up there when I get home and have a hot meal.

Just a note - there is a debris screen that will eliminate this issue - stull in the rad front (21st Century MC 972 417 7177)

Our C5's should have a HOOVER sign on the front undercarriage where the rad is located

You should also check your fluid levels (WHEN COOL) at the radiator. For some reason if your radiator is quite low and you only add water/coolant to the resovoir, it doesn't seem to make it into the radiator. I know this goes against the entire point of the resevoir design, but that has been my experience.

In short, try adding some distilled water directly into the radiator and also check for the debris like everyone else mentioned.

If adding fluid to the reservoir tank does not get it into the radiator, how does one refill the entire thing after a flush?
