With all the BS aside, both the Corvette and the Viper are great cars. With enough money and mods, one can be made faster then the other. BUT, there is one thing the Corvette has on the Viper that the Viper can’t compete with. That is comfort. There is no way in HE11 I would take a long road in a Viper. The interior is too small…PERIOD.

Clayton, you are right, the interior is a little tighter than the C5/C6. My previous GTS had more room than I have now. It doesn't bother me, though. If I wanted more room, I would have bought a Cadillac.
As far as taking a long trip, my first time I drove my coupe was from the dealership (Wisconsin) back to Kentucky. It was about an 8 hour drive, and it seemed shorter. I guess I was still on Cloud 9, but the trip didn't bother me. Now the next day my right butt cheek hurt from sitting on my wallet during the trip, but that's another story!

Here's the liner she did for me when I had my stock hood.
That looks fantastic Now I have to keep that pic so I can use part of it I like the ribbons under the logo and down further where you have the flames I am having some wolf heads done. I can't wait.
Can't imagine what you are gonna do to it next but I can't wait to see
PatrickCarter, what is Jeff doing to your car? I talked to him a few days ago and he said he was trying to finish up a Corvette, guess that one is yours.
Actually, SeaLawyer, the C6 looks like the Viper, as the Gen 3 Viper was out a few years before the Corvette. Just sayin'.
I don't disagree. I was just sort of embarrassed that I'm waving to a dude in a Viper... Once he got closer, I caught myself, so hopefully he didn't see...
Jim great pics. Have you been up to Jeffs lately, I'll be up there in few weeks to pickup my car.
P
Thanks Patrick.. haven't been over there lately but will try to run by and check on it the for you the first of the week...
It's in good hands though, Jeff does excellent work...
Don't open your doors like that you might scar him]
..kinda' looks like it's in the attack mode in that shot doesn't it....
I doubt that Mark is too worried though. Even with my setup he could probably make things quite interesting with that awesome ride of his..
By the way, Mark is very familar with my vette.
He is the very talented artist responsible for all the flame work on my car....
Here's a couple shots of him at work:
Just got back from the alignment shop. The guys there were commenting on how better it looked from the other day, and I couldn't agree more. The alignment guy said the wheels weren't even that bad off after lowering, but now they are perfect. I was going to raise it a little, fughettaboutit, I like it the way it is, and no bottoming out, i can't believe it. The ride is like night and day! Couldn't be happier, and money well spent.
Thanks Jim, cant wait to get it back, I miss driving it. That would be awesome if you could take a look at it for me.
Z06klr; he is just repairing it after I got t-boned just before xmas. Feel free to go do any pro bono work on it you want
Maybe when I pick it up I can meet up with y'all for lunch or something. Next I think that I am going to take either my turbo Z28 or the 99 GT for fresh paint by him. So far I am really impressed with his work, thanks for recommending him Jim.
