Well, I got a new puppy yesterday and was forced to come home in the Vette.
On the way home, she got a little sick. I got home, cleaned everything really well but you can still see that the perforated leather picked some of it up. It's not bad, but I notice it.
Has anyone found a really good way for treating the wholes? I've searched and seems LEXOL is popular.
However, they are leather conditioners, used on clean leather. Check online for some advice on cleaning leather seats. Should be lots of good counsel there. Then use a good leather conditioner. And good luck. Puppy puke, how cute yet unfortunate.

Check with the folks over in the Car Care Discussion section of the Forum. Several very knowledgeable people and a few professional detailers hang out in that section and some of them should be able to provide you with some very good recommendations.

I had a similar problem when I was using cream type leather cleaner. It would block the holes. I found the spray type cleaner and conditioners clean that out with a bit of rubbing
I got a good kit of cleaner and conditioner which works well from Costco.
I just used Maguires Gold Class Cleaner and Conditioner for the first time and was quite impressed. It is a pump spray that comes out in a fine mist. It cleaned real well and didn't leave any residue. Got it at K-Mart!
You better get that cleaned up quick Bud.

We have here...Some who won't even drink a coffee in the Vette...hell...we have some who won't even breathe heavy so the carbon dioxide won't prematurely wear the interior!...We have some who won't even drive thier Vette in the Spring for fear of getting pollen on the paint!!

Your story brings back memories.... back in 73, when you could buy all the 60, 61, and 62 corvettes you wanted at $2,000.00 a piece, my late wife and I bought a 62 vert with removeable hard top. We also had just gotten a bassett hound pup and decided to take a short road trip to the inlaws...... yep...... puppy puke on the way there...... We got it all cleaned up, no problems on the way home and the puppy never road in the vette again. We lived through it, the puppy lived through it, and the person we sold it to a couple years later never knew. Live and learn

I like Lexol as it is a 2 step cleaner. With the cleaner in one pump spray bottle and the conditioner in a separate pump spray. I also use the compressor (100 PSI and a blow gun nozzle) to clean all the cars interiors as this gets all the dust, hair (we have cats) and the like out of the hard to get spots like the A/C vents and cracks around the door control switches etc. I think this method might be worth a try with the clogged perforations in your seats.

This is the CCP speaking. Punishment is as follows:
1. Offender must watch Chevy Chase's movie (Vacation or something like that.) 3 times.
2. Offender (when travelling with puppy) must attach puppy to roof like Chevy Chase did with mother-in-law.
3. If and when offender complies, offender can then take vette and puppy looking for chicks.
4. If offender does not comply, puppy will attach offender to roof of car. Very effective way to drive off chicks.
