The arodynamics of the car is why all the crap gets collected there. The air goes over he car and then falls after the back which lets the dirt etc settle there.

That's normal ,, driving naturally picks up dirt and water and collects on the rear,, It's not just the vette but every other vechile out there . That's one reason I prefer not to play in the rain,,,unless I have to

Happens to all the C5s. As the car goes down the road, the area you mention creates a suction that causes dirt/dust to collect.

Dirt and Dust on Rear
You guys are just full of it!
I think it's from driving too slow. Always finish off your drive with a burst up to about 150 MPH and you will have no more dirt and dust on your rear end!

It's Just you - try driving around in reverse which should keep the back end cleaner.

Best bet is to put it in a glass case and just look at it.

That what California Dusters were invented for. Or you could train some squirrels to clean the back off (see my post "Squirrel took my car on joyride), it keeps them off the road !
