Bmw Pucks
What if any is the trick to installing the BMW pucks into the frame rail?
Do I need a rubber mallet or can I just sort of push them in?

Just push them in and they will stay on
Use a flat head screw driver to pry them out when/if needed

Did you get those at a BMW dealer? How much were they?

Thanks for posting the info, but after I went to bavauto.com, I had trouble locating the pucks. I entered "jacking pucks" in the search engine, but it kept asking for a year and model and none of the other catagories seemed appropriate. Where do I go from there? Thanx.
