I have a black C5 and as others have stated here, get a California Duster! That's the only way to go. When the pollen hit here in SC, I was washing the car every evening, until I got the duster. It's quick and looks like you jsut washed it was wiping it down. At the peek of pollen here, I would wipe the car before going to work, and upon leaving work. She look GOOD on the drive to and from work. Best investment I've made to keep her looking good during this time of year.
Rained here today, ever left my office to go to lunch today, so where all the water beaded from the outstanding wax job I spend hours on last over the weekend collected pollen, and not there are yellow spots all over my car.
After leaving quartet rehearsal tonight, I stopped to get gas (don't even get me started on that subject last Sunday I paid $2.59, tonight...$2.84 <diesel is less then hi-test in my area now>, and since I live in a resort area it will only go up from here)...anyways, I noticed my car looks like a Mag Red Cheetah.
Same problem out here in the west. Don't even get me started on the gas thing. The 91 octane (we don't even get 93) is $3.69 here in central Calif. At least It hurts less when I ride the Harley, but then the pollen is worse with my nose in the wind.
I tried parking in the garage, and my car was still covered in it the next day. Those with yellow vettes have it made right now. I guess there is something good about that color.

Cleaned it again today getting ready for Saturday's show. I will be washing and waxing it AGAIN tomorrow, and hopefully between the wax, the cover tomorrow night, and the duster Saturday morning, I will not have to get up at 5am to wash it yet again before the show.

Wow! Jersey's good for SOMEthin'. I know what you guys are talking about but it hasn't happened here yet. Nothing is bloomin' here. Don't forget to clean your "udders."
