Tampa = two bad seasons.... Yellow pollen all over your car season... and Love bugs all over your car season. I ended up getting the duster last year for my black Camaro and it works wonders as long as you have a good wax on the car it comes right off.

Rocky Mount, NC and it's horrible here too. Like this guy said... put a couple layers of a nice wax on and use your cali duster. I dust mine in the morning, usually by lunch my blue car's paint has a green/yellow flake look.
Anyone else getting raped by the pollen? I had a date last night so I washed the vette, cleaned the wheels and everything. It looked great so I dried it off and drove about a mile home. Got there and it looked ALMOST as bad as before I washed it. So i drove to pick the chica up but stopped about a block away to dust the pollen off again so it looked decent when she got it. I noticed walking into the restaurant even your footsteps in the parking lot sent a little cloud of pollen up so theres no help till pollen season is over!
Anyone know when the pollen should let up?
Get a yellow car!
Only problem is that bugs are always trying to hump my car.
The pollen count in Atlanta a few days ago was well over 5,700. (120 is a serious problem) NBC News reported the problem: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17918563/ Check out the story.
Hasn't hit here in MD yet but we know it's coming...and reports are it's supposed to be one of the worst seasons yet for the yellow crap.
Tip: Being older and wiser next time you go out on a date, show up with the Vette dirty (exterior only). This way, she'll think your loaded with money since you own a Corvette and don't care how it looks. Sort of like reverse psychology!
