How many of you 60 plus have had a H/C swap or a supercharger install like I am thinking about doing. I have a 03 6 spd and want to keep the engine intact and it seems the SC is the way to go. Am I the only crazy 60yr old out here?

Yes and no, I think Don 'BIG DADDY' Garlits raced well into his sixties.
Me I've had my big block's back in the day so I don' need to go real fast. Been there done that, but if thats what you want mod away and have a ball.

My Grandfather was 79 when he exceeded 200mph, did a vertical Skydive....he went Skydiving because I've done it for years and years and he said he wanted to know "what it was like" before he died, we shared that jump and it taught me that a Life worth living, is a Life worth LIVING, not just existing thru...
If it floats your boat, DO IT! No One EVER asks what it costs after you are dead, and if you don't do it now...you never will.

I just turned 60 and also did heads/cam over the winter on my Z06. still love the sound of the cam, the Borlas and shifting @ 6800.
Go for it.
I can't control my age but I have control over my attitude!

I turned 60 in January, and bought an '04 'Vette a month ago. I also have an '02 Z/28 that is primarily a race car. I saw Dyno Don Nicholson racing a door slammer at the Super Chevy show 2 or 3 years ago,,,I think he was around 80. Once you have the need for speed you never get rid of it! I drag raced in the 1960's and went to my first drag race when I was 12, in 1959. Hell no! You'll have to pry my cold dead fingers off my hot rod...................

I am a little past 60 and I have a Z06 (2004), a 1923 Ford street rod with a almost 500 Hp Chevy motor, a Dodge dually diesel heavily modified and am getting ready to start on a 1932 Ford highboy. You could say I will never be too old for too much horsepower.

HP = A disease that knows no limits, is transparent to age, and is in no way proportional to the end users dollar income.
