where else to look...
over the past few days i have called on you all to help me decide color, options, year, etc... but now the tough part.. i need to find "the one" ive scoured ebay, autotrader, craigslist, local newspapers, autotrader magazine, here, and cars.com... im in virginia, and i need a vette, c5, mn6, coupe, in either black or red. and preferably under 100k miles... i only have 16,000 to spend but many here have said this is highly possible. so please, help me out... help me find "the one" im exhausted, and my eyes are burning from staring at the computer screen and im going

Your price max and unwillingness to go cross country will make it unlikely to find multiple cars at all times. But it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Please just stay calm and be patient. Keep a constant eye on all your sources and when your car comes up, jump on it. Great deals aren't knocking on your door everyday, but they do exist. It will just take time. Good luck! 
By the way, it was patience and Autotrader.com that got me into my $20k Z06 that I love so much. I almost pulled the trigger on a '97 black 6-speed coupe repo car on my first search, but now I'm soooooo glad I was patient.
