New Clutch Installed
just had a new fidanza alluminum flywheel and kevlar clutch installed.
first off you can tell the difference in the revs for sure, but I will also need to get it re-tuned. My tuner states that it is due to the huge difference in rotating mass, that the computer doesn't expect the revs to come down so fast and that he has a fix for it.
the drive ability so far is great (once you are driving it), I still have to break it in before I can give accurate performance feedback though, but so far I am very pleased. I was also told by my guy at fidanza that I could expect a horsepower gain at the rear wheel due to the weight difference, it will go on the dyno once the tune is done next week. so I will leave with that and post results once I receive them. obtw originally tuned by the same guy 419 rwhp after h/c.
