I'm one of the rare few that don't like the look of tinit. Obviously, it can be used for other reasons than just looks.

As I am sure you thought about, if the tint is dark it makes night driving vision from sides and rear harder to see oncomming.

35% is my option.

You two are the bolder ones...
...but I think the rear window with darker and side windows lighter is good...
...I really like the darker tint against the dark edges in the rear window...

I have 15% on the fronts and 5% on the back. Never been pulled over for it and never been an issue when I got my speeding ticket.

35% and 50% would be lighter actually.. 5% lets only 5% of light pass through the tint where as 35% would let 35% pass through the tint thus making it lighter. Just thought I would clear that up... With that said I believe I have 35% tint on mine.

Thanks ...I was beginning to get the idea...

In fact...

I believe I have decided what I am going to do...

I like the idea of 35% front and 15% rear...

But to get just a little more light through the rear window...
...something in between the suggestions here...

I have chosen 20% for the rear window

...And for the side windows again something a little darker but not quite so dark as some of the suggestions...

I have chosen 30% for the side windows...

I have all my cars tinted and I think it looks great on a vette!

Had Dark Dark Tint on my 01 Black Z when I took delivery of it a few years back..... it also had the front windshield tint.....

I removed it.... because:
1. I looked like a rapper.
2. Hard to see at night.
3. Alot of 2nd looks from LEO..... followed me a few times...
4. Alot of ricer attn..... wanting to race.....
5. I only put really dark tint on hoopties... so no-one knows who's behind the wheel..... that was not the case for my Z
