So... for a lowered car like mine (removed front bolts and longer rear) the Sports are best???

Default Go With Hd

Vette'n04, Go with the Bilstein HD shocks. If you do some searches you will find that many members feel the Sports are TOO FIRM (most of them are close to 40 (or more), have kids and a wife and dont race). I researched this extensively last year before I installed the HD on my 01 coupe with z51 package. I also installed the z06 bars. It now my vette rides like a vette should. Based on your age (well age of your children), NY roads and since you DONT RACE I feel you would be much happier with the HD. They are SLIGHTLY firmer than the z51 package so if you have the base package it will be much firmer without being rough. I do a lot of long weekend trips and many on the interstates and I love the HD. Much better control, less wheel hop, better cornering and they don’t beat you to death on the rough roads. Unless you into EXTREAM performance AND you don’t care what your wife thinks about the ride then go with the HD.

Good luck.

with Jeep/C5. You will find conflicting stories on this subject but I have HDs on my Z51 lowered Vert and like them very much.

I recently switched from stock to Z06 sways and Bilstein sports and am very happy with the ride on bumpy roads and the handling in the twisties.
