[Z06] Clutch Slipping.
Step one is clean up your clutch fluid until it is pristine. That would normally take 5-10 repititions of the protocol, costing about $6 and taking about an hour. Time well spent.
Step two is determining whether the clutch is slipping and, if it is, in what circumstances.
The usual test is to go up a steep hill in fifth gear and hammer the throttle. If the clutch is going to slip, it's then. Afterward, sniff the firewall on the drivers side. Smell eau de clutch? On the way to that hill, drive conservatively. No launches, no strong shifts, no WOT.
What you need to rule out is that the 3-4 issue is really the cumulative effect of what you did immediately preceeding that. Like the launch, 1-2, 2-3...all with dirty clutch fluid that hampers the pressure plate from clamping fully on the strong shifts.
Just some thoughts.
