One member posted that he'd fixed the problem by running a bead of Perfect Glue 2 (from Home Depot) along where it was separating and then pressing it together with rolls of paper.
Had the problem,glass came all the way out.My bud that owns a custom shop recommended that I call a windshield repairman and they used the windshield adhesive to glue back in and its been perfect for a year and a half.not bad in the Texas sun.Jerry
My black top did the same thing. I figured the heat from the sun did it. So I did a temporary fix with weatherstrip adhesive and ordered a new top. Took advantage of the situation to change to a biege top. My car is torch red and I'm happy with the end result. Also, it stays much cooler in the hot Washington, D.C. summers.
