We picked up a 50th Anniversary C5 vert yesterday. Just wanted to thank everyone who responded to our post comparing verts and coupes. Have hat, will go topless. Love it to pieces. Very impressed with the brakes. One small problem ,bolster and lumbar support quit working. We can hear the motors running without any movement. We're going to get it fixed on the warranty, but we have to take it out of town and were wondering if anyone out there had a similar problem and how long it took to get it fixed ( we don't want to be seperated from the new baby ).
Thanks again.
We'll post pics as soon as hubby figures out how.
Greetings and congratulations on your 50th AE. We love our Annie!
I have a similar problem going on with the driver's side seat. If you do a search in the tech section under "power seat" there is some info there for possible remedies.
Enjoy your vert

Hi Payday. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the Forum.
The switch operates a small electric motor that blows up air bladders on the seat. If you can hear it running that's a good thing. It means you have a leak. If both have failed more likely that its a leak in the plumbing rather than both bladders.
If you look around the bladders you'll find the pipes that provide the air. Inspect those pipes and the associated connectors. My guess is it'll be a problem with one of the elbow joints.
From a previous thread, apparently by just unzipping the back panel you can get access to the bladders without taking out the seat. It would be worth trying first although I've only ever done the full strip down.
