removing front clip???

Default removing front clip???

Hi Guys,

I want to take my front end off to have it repainted. How hard are they to remove?? tks guys

Just the outer halves on the front fenders I assume since the inner fiberglass pieces are glued to the frame rails.

The front bumper isn't all that difficult to take off nor the hood, lining it all up afterwards is the real joyful part.

I would recommend buying a set of service manuals from Helms or find them on fleEbay for excellent details on where the fasteners are all located at.

There are 6 or 7 bolts across the top under front of hood. About 3 bolts on each tire well and 4 on each side at the bottom of the bumper. then once you get the covers out of the way there are two bolt on the side where the fender and the bumper meet. plus two clips under the front filler plate and unplug the wiring harness one plug. 10-15 mins

The corner bolts up inside by each head lights are the PIA ones. Other then that no problem.
