First, i just wanted to say hi, as i am now among the vette lovers out there! I was just wondering if i got a good deal on the vette i bought. Its a 2001,stick shift, targa, with 27k miles and i got em down to $24,100.
Secondly, I was wondering how the emissions works with this car since they just hook it up to a computer. Does the results come from after the catalytic converter? (Reason: Was looking into a test pipe, and i didn't want to get it if it would mess up the computer numbers).
i think you just need to get your codes cleared before you go and if you dont throw any codes it will be fine. They didnt hook mine up but it was too low for the rollers so they just signed it off.
Welcome , you will find it helpful and friendly in here.
The price is in the range depending on how prisitine the car is and what options are on it.
The only emissions tests I am aware of are tested out the tailpipe...
Unless you mean the onobard diagnostics which measure viathe 02 sensors.
Some who install "offroad" systems also install 02 simulators to prevent codes.
