when I was driving home tonight when I wiould hit a bump I would hear a sqeak from my front end. What could this be my car is a 98 with only 31k on it? should Corvette's have some grease fitting on them or what? Shocks look ok everything seems normal
Mine does the same thing, but only going over the dang speed bumps when I first leave my garage. When things heat up, the squeak/scrunch noise goes away.
Lubricating swaybar bushings isn't a normal maintenance procedure.
That said, if you decide to (I think I'd wait awhile to see if it goes away), remove the bushing bracket bolts and bushings then use a little lithium grease on the inner bushing surface.
There are a lot of threads and posts about changing out swaybars which discuss the bushings. I recommend searching for them using 'sway bar' or 'swaybar'. You should get some tips from them.
