Default C6 Nav unit install in a C5??

Is it possible to install the C6 Navigation Unit in a C5? I assume you'd have to modify the bezel to make it fit, but was curious about the connections and antenna setup.

Has anyone tried this?

I think there's a lot more to it than that... the C6 wiring deals with Onstar and a couple other things that would make it a nightmare. But check out the Audio/Electronic section... I know this has been asked before, and you'll also see lots of great installs of Avic and other double-din nav headunits.

The C6 Nav system is one of the worst on the market. There are cheaper better units to be had. If you have access to one cheap I bet I know why.

That's what I've heard, too. No sense in going through all that effort to install something that a lot of C6 owners can't wait to jettison. Definitely go with one of the better aftermarket options available...
