Default Window Valet stolen

This is bizarre. I installed a Window Valet last summer. Haven't used it all winter but when I went to demo it to someone yesterday, it didn't work. When I checked underneath the steering column, the entire module was gone. The only other person(s) who touch my car besides me is my local dealer who does the warranty maintenance. I can't prove that their mechanics took it, but I am going to have a word with the service department manager. Now I have to buy another one.

Anybody else ever have their Window Valet "disappear"?

Many times the mechanic will put the WV in the glove box, or it ends up under the seat. Check around first.

Lastly - whomever (it they did) take it - they'll find it useless unless they have the correct code

I checked the glove box and some other likely spots but didn't find it. If they had to remove it to run some tests, or they thought it was creating a problem, they should have either put it back on or handed it to me saying "Don't use it". Those little buggers are too expensive to just "lose".

The pin code is the last four digits printed on the module itself.

Being generous maybe they pulled it out to plug into the OBD. Maybe a gentle word will fix the problem?
