Put on some handling mods
...put on some Baer Tracker bump-steer eliminator tie rods, z06 springs and a tunnel brace. Already have Hotckis Bars and Bilstein Sport shocks. Thought about poly bushings but didn't want the harsh ride or the noise as its a daily driver, not a pure race car.
When I first brought the car in this morning, it was so far out of alignment the alignment guy said "I've never seen so much red in my life" referring to all the out of spec things on the alignment machine.
I drove to work after getting the alignment done like a bat out of hell, it was awesome... too bad it seemed I got stuck behind every slow moving truck and granny driving and the road was partially wet
But when I did get to push it, this thing feels like it handles on rails now, HUGE improvement.
The z06 springs are nice, I had a concern they would be too rough riding, but no they are great! The FE1 (base) springs are WAY too soft! Driving over not-so great roads wasn't as bad as I had expected. I'm very happy with the way the car turned out. Feels like the tunnel brace made a pretty significant difference stiffening up the car as well, my roof doesn't creek as much despite the springs being stiffer. Car feels more ridgid overall.
Now that I've done most my handling mods, perhaps it is time to move onto engine mods

....that's similar to the road I took... It's definitely a noticeable difference
