I'm probably going to have my seats covered in 100% heavy duty leather. The seats that come with the C-5 are covered partially in a cheap plastic coating on canvas. I had a place repaired already which was caused by simply sliding in and out. I have no idea why GM used such poor material, when leather is really quite inexpensive. Does anyone know of an after- market seat manufacturing co. that I might contact. Thanks

Leatherseats.com is not an all leather seat skin - Vette Essentials is all 100% leather - front, back and sides.
I have had my skins two years and they look like the day they were installed.
I have installed a set of Leatherseats.com skins on someone else's car. They fit pretty good but they are not in the same league - and if you are looking for top quality full grain leather - VE is the way to go.
Personally - I waited impatiently for about a year until I could afford the full Executive package from VE. Other than wheels - there is no single appearance mod that you can do to your car that will have a greater impact to the overall appearance than a custom interior. It was the single best mod I ever did. I love my custom wheels - but the truth is, my hands and my big *** touch the leather every time I'm in the car and the return on the investment is incredible. Wheels are great to look at when the car is stationary - the seats and other pieces are something that you will appreciate when you drive the car....and afterall isn't that what Corvette ownership is supposed to be about- driving it?
Here are some pics of the 2 styles. The one is the one inch thick stripe around the perimeter of the seat and the other one is just the colored stitching.

Listen to Randy, he knows of what he speaks!
I got them and love them! (and a little bonus are the pockets they put on the seat backs!)
