I have owned my '03 Z06 for about three months. It already had a blackwing when I got it, and I am now looking for additions to make. Should i start with the headers or at the back end with catbacks, or maybe with a new cam?

ARH headers, leave the cat back for now unless you just want loud, then get a cam and pulley with a tune. Did the previous owner open shroud up under the Blackwing? Big difference when you do that!

That is kind of what I was thinking. I am not quite sure about the shroud. How can you tell?

Supermaxx LT headers + cats + X-Pipe and a tune. My car felt strong stock, but feels & sounds WILD with this system installed. Kept the Stock Ti system and it sounds really nice now.

That is kind of the feeling that i have gotten from reading posts on this and other forums. a lot of people like the stock TI exhaust, which i do to and I think with new headers, x-pipe, and a cam it will sound even better.

Welcome abourd man and congrats on the Z

First off, what do yuo want out of hte next mods??? If you want more HP and Torq, headers are a great way to wake the car up. Add a cam and tune (UD pulley while you are at it) and you should be happy for a while.

If you just want more sound, catbacks do just that and realy give no additional RWHP will do that well.

Do you have any Z owners close by? It would help you to see some other folks, ride in thier car, hear the mufflers ect... If you are close, shoot me a pm and I will show you a nasty HC rude, evil idle, and an owner with a big smile

I am really looking to add more HP and Torq and if the sounds gets better while I am adding for those than that is a plus. i plan on gettting a baseline when we get back from the honeymoon, and then start the mods.

A ''whine'' pedal sounds fun. I need one also.
