Can anybody reccomend what to use to put the body side mouldings back on? I decided to take them off today so I start with the small piece. I get it off, clean up that area, check out the color for fade looks good. I am really starting to like the look without it. Ok so start on the long piece it takes a while but I get it off. I am Looking at the end where the door meets the rear part and it seems like it is indented where the moulding was. After further inspection the door must of been painted over cause the paint is higher above and below where the moulding was. So I guess they painted it with the moulding on. So now I am forced to put it back on (bummer). The only good thing was at least I didn't do both sides. I am glad I did that side first. Now comes the pain of removing all the residue that is on the moulding. Does the dealer sell the adhesive strips to go on the moulding? Any other suggestions would be appreceiated. Thanks

I'm sure you can go and buy some 3M double stick tape made for car moldings or go to an auto store and get the tape there. I just had mine taken off and they gave them back to me and it doesn't look like anything super special.
Sorry for your disappointment. I would try some polishing compound to see if I could blend it in on the car before giving up. Good luck hope it works out. Of course thats what body shops are around for too.

I'd step way back and decide if you like the look w/o the BSMs. If you do, then see if you (or a body shop/detailer) can smooth out the paint ridges.
Don't give up. If its what you really want it will haunt you forever.
