Well, Mike knew I had the vett before we started seeing one another - so I don't think that was the ticket - I'm thinking it was my outgoing, smarta$$ personality

For some reason, he won't drive it either... oh well, more room for my purse

I'm 58-years old, retired, and still have to fight the women off when I'm in the Vette. Seriously, I'm more flattered now when a guy makes a comment about my car. There's nothing like having a guy in a minivan loaded with kids giving me a thumbs up.

She is actually a very simple person. She is also very hard working. Each year for the past 10 years, she has taken a GED course, and one day she aspires to getting her GED.

Once she acquires the GED, she feels she will get a good job. She has always wanted to become a pin setter at the local bowling alley, but she is a little bit afraid of getting stuck in the machinery. She previously got stuck in it, but EMS freed her up each time.

Some more good news. Today she told me that has been saving her pennies for her wedding, and that she has $35. Once she buys her wedding dress at the KMart outlet, she feels she will have $25 or $30 left.

I tried to sneak some pictures of her, but camera kept breaking.

Let me know.

funny stuff!

Funny... "A nice car will never get the girl, but a crappy one can loose her"

Its been a long time since I was 25 but if I recall I didn't care WHY they wanted to be around. "insert dorky looking H.S. photo here..."

I was actually married by 25 but my 15-22 years consisted of mainly looking for miss right-now. Was willing to wait for miss right to come along.

Relax about the relationship stuff. Go out and have a good time.

It does turn lots of heads in England. Not too many red verts in this neck of the woods. Sadly, I'm "mature" enough to realize that its the car they're lookin at

My daughter is indeed young pretty and single

But she lives in London
I will be back in London soon! Maybe I can meet her?

So no one there.

It's really not that bad of a life. I don't regret not drinking. I would prefer not having a girl that drank anyway.

I didn't mean that I wanted the vette to get me a girl. I was purely curious on how many have the fake interests b/c of the car.

I was always told that if you want a vehicle you better buy it before you get married b/c when that happens you don't get anymore toys. And you may lose the ones you have...So I have my toys...until I decide on doing the cobra kit car.

Most girls don't know anything about cars. As soon as I go into details about my engine and mods they are lost. The girl I am currently talking to called her father one day and asked if corvettes were nice cars. hahaah

My wife met me while I was driving a truck. I was pretty **** about it being perfect---now it has taken a backseat to being **** about my vette that my wife (at the time girlfriend) insisted I buy from my daughter (28---2 kids---recently divorced) once I told her how it was always my dream to own a vette. Now we are selling the vette, boat and camper so I can get myself a C5--she already got hers.

I guess as you get older the car really doesn't matter---it's just not that important. Besides---she had more fast cars in her lifetime than I did.

And sorry---you don't drink or dance---my daughter would be bored but she is cute

The car seems to be a good ice breaker...but I don't really think MOST of the girls care all that much.
