I just installed the HID conversion kit from DJ Motor Sport Accessories (Great kit by the way, pretty easy to install, and lights up like nothing else). Only problem is, I went to aim the headlights, as now the driver's side one is quite a bit lower than it was stock, and the passenger side one is WAAAAY higher. However, the little stalks to adjust them don't seem to want to budge. I am using a T15 torx driver as I should, and even sprayed them with WD40 and let it sit for a while. Afterwards, the passenger side stalk for vertical adjustment actually snapped off.
Am I screwed now, or is there any way for me to adjust it or fix this? The passenger side one is practically shining into the trees.
I had this problem on a much earlier Vette, found the only way to correct it was to go to a good body shop, someone who deals with high end cars is often the best, and bring a new full set of Corvette adjusters with you. Most likely the HID assembly will have to be removed, the new screws inserted properly and then re-aimed using their headlight adjustment tools. This was about 1995 time frame and my ZR-1 had the same problem when updating to higher intensity lighting. In 1995 the cost was one hour labor to make the change.
Currently am using the european headlights on my 2003 C5, they use a PAAS bulb that is 90w low beam and 150 high, which as you have probably noticed, the Corvette suffers from overdriving the headlight problems at night which is the reason you changed the headlights out in the first place, right!

If they are way off I'd check the bulbs first. Sounds like you may not have them seated properly. They shouldn't be off just because you changed bulbs.
