I was considering a set of underdrive pulleys for the Corvette, mostly for the fuel savings. My Mustang picked up 2 mpg! It's a nice freebie mod, to grab a little lost HP and drag. Who makes the best pullies? And can you retain the stock belt?
Steeda makes the best for a Mustang 4.6, they give you a whole NEW damper with the new crank pulley machined in. Does anyone make one for the LS1?
there's quite a few available...
ATI & ASP are the first two that come to mind. I know there are a few others too. I'm running an ECS overdrive pulley.
I have a SLP underdrive. Wanted a ASP, as I have heard great things about them, but it was an afterthough when I was putting in the Heads and Cam. Couldn't get my hands on one quick enough .
So settled for the SLP. Did have to go with a new belt.
