Factory Radio Problem...

Factory Radio Problem...
I took my car out of storage this past weekend. The interior was damp and reeked of dead/dying mice and their poop, etc.
The dampness is what has me concerned, though.
The stereo worked OK when I first fired up the car, but then the left side speakers quit working. Now if I turn the radio on the left speakers pop and snap violently.
I think the stock amplifier had bitten the dust... anyone else go through this? I really doubt the mice had anything to do with it since they didn't actually get into the interior, so I doubt it's a chewed wire. Like I say, the interior was very damp when I first opened the car up.

You car where rats and roaches get in your car??????
Your symptoms sounds like a shorting problem. Sounds like a ground wire is touching something and once that does it will kill all the sound.
Just open the doors and inspect all your wires....
