Z06 block internals question???
are the Zo6 blocks made a different in terms of castings from a LS1 block of the same year i.e 2002... Just curious becasue my car is an 02 LS6 Zo6 and i am in the middle of my heads and cam swap and my buddies car which is an Ls1 2002 SS with a similar package ended up cracking his block up at the top of the piston at #1.... now it seems to me like maybe it was a fluk but he was running about 11:5 compression and dont want the same to happen to me. anybody run into any problem running higher compressions on stock Ls6 blocks...or any problems in general with heads and cam swaps.
