I put some letters on my passenger side airbag and they will not stay on. They were supposed to be 3m but I am not sure. Can you recommends a vendor and give some tips on cleaning the surface please. I used alcohol.

If you will use 3M adhesive promoter they will all stick. You can buy this at most parts store that sells auto paint. 3M part number is 06396 this is a small packet but should do 5 or 6 decals and cost about $1.60 per packet.

When you are done cleaning it with alcohol, clean it again and again and again. Interior dressings like amor all will not allow the decals to stick. I also get duct tape and see if that sticks first. If the duct tape sticks then the decals will. Heat guns on low or hair dryer will help as well.
Also, you have to clean it with DENATURED alcohol. Rubbing alcohol will leave behind a residue. I got mine from Corvettes of Houston. Been on for two years with no problems!

The raised letter decal I installed on my 2000 was made by Cyberdine Graphics. Humidty is a big factor when installing these. I cleaned with light soap and water, cleaned with denatured alcohol. I also used a hair dryer to completely dry area. After installing decals, I blew warm air then cool with hair dryer. These puppies aren't coming off! Good luck.

I installed my interior decals probably 5 years ago and used rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the area before putting them on. Used a pair of tweezers and a Q-tip for the installation. No signs of peeling at all. Got them from Corvette Accessories Unlimited.
Mine wouldn't stay on either, so I used craft glue and a toothpick and after cleaning the airbag with denatured alcohol, they stuck fine. That was three years ago. They're still stuck.
