I'm getting ready to do Heads/Cam/Headers. Who sells the ARP Head Bolts? Is there a certain size that is specific? Anything else I should get while I'm at it (as far as bolts)?
I got ARP stuff from Summit Racing. Personally I would use studs. I went with their header studs also, They should be already packaged for the application.

Just gave them a call. Oddly enough they don't show it for a 2003 Z06 application. He recommended thatI call ARP on Monday just to verify.
you dont really have to use arp bolts u can use the GM perfromance parts stuff that works really well. unless u are going with nitrous or boost....try this place http://www.sdparts.com/

Good deal. That's what I did with the last Heads/Cam Z. I wasn't sure how much more $ the ARP's were or if it was worth spending a little bit extra. I'll check out SPD!

Andy,
If I were you, I would spend the extra money on the ARP studs!
IMO, it's the only way to go, and don't forget to get the ARP crank pulley bolt also! "Do it right the first time".

I ended up compromising. I spoke to a couple others that said to go with the "bolts" rather than the studs unless I was planning to change the Heads often (and that the studs were a pain). Makes sense. I probably couldn't go wrong with either and they're better than the stock replacement bolts (which probably still would have been fine but.......)!
