Great pics DT, is the location the old Compton's Restaurant? Been a while since I have been up that way.

Yes it is! It was Compton's, then McMulvie's Reef, and just The Reef (er, I guess McMulvie hit the road )

They do pretty decent business now, though, I wouldn't put it on any of my recommendation lists.

Now Cap's, right across the street on the intracoastal, that's some outstanding food (and the best sunset in town!)

Take care ~

Major mods in pics:

Spectre Werks rear fascia
CCW SP500 wheels (18"/19")
C6Z51 brakes/brackets/rotors (powdercoated by Jason @ Gulf Coast Performance)
Chromed pad inserts (also Jason)
BPP "Heat Extractor" Hood

Beautiful piece. The rotors and calipers are super. What/who's rear facia is that, I love the molded in spoiler.

It's made by Spectre Werks, it's their Group 5 rear - one of my favorite aftermarket pieces of all time

You need to come hang out. There are a ton of Z's around our little town now.

Looks great! I color-matched my calipers, but black doesn't show so much. They still look better than the factory gray.

I love that rear bumper on the car!

Thanks, yeah, I'm wondering if the MY is going to be a maintenance headache! I almost went with gloss black brackets, then thought about all black with an MY logo, but I really like the effect of the whole assembly being yellow.

At least: 1) It's not a daily driver, and B) On the street I run regular (non-Z06) pads, so they dust a little less - actuall considered a switch to ceramics. (On track it's usually XP10/11's which I'm sure will turn the calipers black in 10 minutes )

I know! The wifey and I wave like nutjobs at everyone

We kind of stay over here on this side of the ditch for the most part (especially if the surf is good ), but maybe we should coordinate a little mini cruise of some sort.

Maybe drive through the Old City, over to the island, hit up Panama Hatties or something?

Later!

I agree, I would certainly do my best to be there. Miss being home and look forward to getting up that way when I can. I know there are a bunch of vette owners in the St. Augustine area.
