Default Coolant Temp. Gauges?

I was wandering what temp. you guys are seeing on your Z06??

On the freeway my coolant temp. is right around 187 "F
On heavy stop and go, I get around 230 "F and then gruadually dropped back down to 227" F or so.

its normal. if you get worried aobut heat, flush fill the radiator, clean the air filter, clean the radiator of debris... make sure your fog openeings are free and clear.

if you stay under 240 in teh coolant you are ok.. your oil temps arent that high though right?

after runing for a bit on the hiway you should be atleast 190 in oil temps. theses engines are designed to run and after reading several forum posting about 190 to 210 oil on the DIC optimal... it seems high compared to other cars but hey dude its a Vette :-P
