c5 painted wheels
i would like to get some feedback about how to tell silver painted verses the darker or gray wheels,people get them confused,,,is there a way to tell which is which,,,the compitition grey the gun grey or whatever,,,i have noticed one has the gray center cap logo one has the red logo,,anybody know how to tell the difference,,like if your looking on ebay to buy a set,,most people dont have a clue what they have and you cant tell by a picture,they look alike...

The factory silver wheels are all five spokes where as the darker, argent colored wheels found on the Z06 are 10 spoked. The only other wheel that was available (besides the 50th anniversary five spoke and the polished wheels) was the magnesium wheel which was a bronze color.

i just sold a set of dark grey 5 spoke wheels ,,,so they have silver and there are grey 5 spoke oem c6 wheels out there,,,i am only talking about c6 wheels and not zo6 ,,,,,,i found out there are 3 codes for 2006 and 2007 wheels QX3 IS CHROME QX1 IS COMP GREY AND QG7 IS POLISHED ALUM,,ANYONE KNOW WHAT 2005 IS IT THE SAME,,,,,?????AND KNOW OF ANY OTHER WHEELS OPTIONS FOR 2005 TO 2007

Also some of the early 2000 wheels have a different lip. They are different than most that came after. So if you are concerned about that, it is something to look for.
