I would like to formally apologize to all Corvette owners/drivers in the central and north Alabama area who I may have confused.
I recently bought a 1998 Silver Vert and I imagine/daydream I am driving it even when I am not. (at home, while running, etc)
Anyway, I have a green Honda Accord as my daily driver and while driving it, I have "accidentally" waved at several of you (in your Corvette) as we passed each other.
I have recieved looks of confusion and "half-waves" in return. Both deservedly so. It is just that I get excited when I see a Corvette coming my way, (now that I actually own one) and I lose my focus and wave at every one of them.
So, if you pass a 2000 green Accord with an idiot waving at you in Alabama.....be patient. I am still learning.
I, too, wave even when I'm in my beat 97 Grand Am daily driver. I'd like to get one of those bumper stickers that says "My Other Car is a Corvette"...and really mean it.

Keep waving... It's even more fun when you have people in the car with you and they ask what you're doing... you tell 'em and the say, But you're not in your Vette... and you say, "I know."... Now that's a Kodak moment!
At least you're not crying about people not waving back

We all forgive you, we understand that you Auburn fans get confused alittle. Come over to the Crimson side and everything will be ok.
Dont worry about the wave thing, I do it all the time when I am in my Nissan truck.
Roll Tide!!
Hey if you're in a Vette it shouldn't surprise you that someone, anyone waves at you. I always wave at Vettes I pass, whether I am driving mine or not, and I usually return any waves whether I am in my Vette or not. I usually doesn't hurt to be friendly to one another (IMHO).
