I saw a thread yesterday about some old C3 wagon conversions that were a little popular in the '70s and I got to wondering what a C5 wagon would look like. So my apoligies in advance, but I fired up photoshop and spent about 15 minutes on it.
My conclusion: it would look kind of silly. (besides, you wouldn't gain much storage space as the rear glass is already pretty sizable.)
Of course not. That's why people put in white gauge faces and aluminum trim rings. If the car came this way we would be swapping in black gauge faces and taking off the trim rings! Changes don't neccessarily make it better, just different.
Don't get me started on some of the interior mods I've seen on this forum. Just because some vendor makes something doesn't mean you should put it in your car....but, each to his own.

you must work for the government in dc, with not much to do at work today
Reminds me of the 70's cult movie "Harold and Maude"; where Bud Cort (why do I remember these people's names?) pulls out a torch and turns a beautiful E-type Jag into a hearst. Scary!
I always wanted a C3 wagon, the side windows in back opened in a gull wing fashion. I also wanted the late 70's Trans Am conversion. I had a '77 black TA and would love to have had it modded.
