I did a search and found some threads on this, but none were my symptoms. Just want to know which bulb to change and the part/bulb number.
So my symptoms are...
The right DRL is not working. When I click on the fog lights the DRL lights up and the light directly behind the turn signal (didn't even know there was a light in there) lights up and stays on too. Weird, any ideas? When I try to click on the turn signal, nothing happens except a very hyper blinking light on the gauge cluster, and fast blinking tail lights - with both the DRL and light behind stuck on, but not flashing.
With no headlights on, trying to click on the blinker will cause no light on the passenger side, except the rear.
Putting on the hazards with head lights off, no flashing on right side.
yes, the bulb in there has 2 filiments - a bright one and a dimmer one. One of them sounds like it is blown, so most likely you need to replace the bulb. Sorry but I do not have the bulb number here with me, but someone will post it. It is a common bulb type..
Instead of getting into the details of how they work, I think your best course of action is to go to your local auto parts store and ask them for a replacement bulb for your front turn signal, install the new bulb and we'll then see if that fixed it. The bulb should only be a few dollars, and any decent patts store can lookup the type you need.

Go in through the brake ducts - not easy with a Z06 or if you have screens
Go in through the bottom by taking out the bottom panel
The one that works for me is:
Turn on the headlights and back off one position to kill the lights.
Unscrew the 3 small screws on the black plastic housing around the headlight. Gently pull the housing clear. Reach down around the headlight unit and release the bulb holder. It unscrews counter clockwise but it has a plastic clip which you need to squeeze to release it. Change the bulb. Reseat the bulb holder and turn until it clicks back in place. Put the plastic housing back in place making sure to locate the small plastic tab in the bracket on the headlamp cover. Replace the 3 screws and close the lights.
Some guys with big arms remove the hood adjusting screw for better access
Yup, the turn sugnal and DRL are the same bulb - it is the only one in there. It has a bright and a dim setting
Actually it has 2 filaments, a 5W filament for parking lights and a 21W filament for Turn Signals/Flashers and DRL on the C5. The DRL is basically the turn signal left ON (i.e. not flashing).
