Default Wheels Opinion?

I bought my dream car just over a month ago, C5 Commemorative Edition, and it came with some HRE chrome wheels, which I've just found out are pretty expensive but I was wondering whether or not to change them out for some chrome Z06 style wheels?

Which do you think would look better, as is or Z06? Here's a pic with the wheels that came with the car:

Thanks for your feedback in advance

nice looking car but, for HRE's they look a little plain. Some ZO6 wheels should do the trick.

I would keep the HRE's IMHO.

Chrome C6 Z06 wheels would look better. The spokes on your wheels look too much like blades.

Tough one, the HRE's are an expensive wheel. Must admit the blades are rather big. However, spending the extra $$$ on ZO6 wheels does not seem like a big improvement. I would keep the HRE's and do slotted and/or drilled brake rotors or even better headers. Either way even if you do nothing that is a nice looking Vette.

I'm certainly not against mods, but I'd keep the special edition Vettes as close to stock as possible. I'd go back to the stock wheels.

I don't like HRE's personally way to expensive and I don't like any style wheel they have, and even less the ones that your car came with, just honest opinion..I think Chrome Z06 wheels would look better for your car. Ditch those HRE's.

They are unique, but I would sell them, you should get some good $$ for them and you could buy whatever you liked instead of being stuck with them.

Sell or trade. There are some HRE's and many others that I like more than those...but as stated in other ways, I haven't seen those before. I'd stick with an aftermarket, sets our cars apart!

I'd probably go with the Z06 style, but that's just me. HRE is a good wheel, just not a fan of that style.

I've never seen that style of HRE wheel before.... might be a reason? Could also be someone stuck HRE centers on another brand for bragging rights.

Default Z06 Wheel Vendors?

Sorry, my bad, they are actually MHT wheels :o but the fact is that most people have confirmed my opinion that the Z06's (or most other styles ) would look way better!

So my next question is...does anyone have any recommendations for vendors of "decent" Z06 wheels?

Sorry for the wrong manufacturer info :o and thanks so much for all the feedback!

Personally I would get the chrome Z06's, the HRE's look too solid for me and the Z06's go with the car better. IMHO
