IMO the TS is nothing but a PIA. Im sure that because the car is listed as having it you'd like nothing more to know its there if anything for piece of mind but after two days of the headlights popping when going through a tunnel when visability isnt an issue you'll wonder why you ever enabled it.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head, I know I have it so, just once I want to see it do it so I can go ooooooh ahhhhh, I'm coming from a low-tech 00' T/A so I just want to see how it works, but I'll likely cut it off, the previous owner obviously didn't like it either
I read most of the posts, not sure if all your questions were answered. Canadian cars are required to be equipped so that the headlights come on automatically. Therefore from the factory canadian cars do not have the option to turn the TS off as US cars do. If you remove fuse 44 it will disable the headlight doors from opening, but the parking lights/fog lights will still come on automatically. Take it to somone with a Tech 2 and have them toggle off the "canadian options", option Z49 I believe. This will enable it to act like a US car so that you can turn the TS on or off.
