FYI
there is a national highway safety bulletin for c5 reverse lockouts not working.
I just had mine replaced and it was covered by the aftermarket warranty I bought.

Can you post the bulletin or a link. I didn't see anything on the NHTSA site about it and there's no TSBs on it.

I accidentally shifted into reverse last night. Thought I was going from 4th to 5th, and heard a grinding and immediately went back to N. 
Tried to do it again, and it was locked out. Hope I didn't hurt anything!
