Well its early Sunday AM now so I guess I should say I just bought a 1999 C5 yesterday. Pewter Coupe 6-speed. Loads of options. Just learning all the new gadgets this car has compared to my '90 ZR1. 2 totally different cars as expected. I will definitely be asking some questions down the road here as I have no idea how to work on these (i.e MODS). I'm used to the C4s.

Anyways just dropped in to say HI
Hey, welcome to CF and congrats on your 1999 C5
I'm sure you'll gonna enjoy it ! The C5 is a great Vette. I love
my 1999 C5 Z51 Nassau Blue Coupe. . . .
When your get around to it how about a few pics of your new
baby. . . . .
OK, congrats again and welcome to the C5 family. . . keeps us posted on any MODs you decide to make. . . . "Enjoy" !
Sorry it took so long to get back. Weekends get kind of busy. Thanks All for the welcome. I will get some pics and put them up soon. Have not had much seat time in it yet. In comparison to the ZR1 it definitely is a nice driver. Tighter body for sure, I don't get the flex noises going out the driveway. Feels more refined, but no surprise from a next gen car. Comfortable to drive. Stiffer chassis makes the car feel better. Nice ride for sure. C5 is more of a daily driver car while the ZR1 is more of a weekend beast. The sound of the LT5 winding out is awesome. Now to get a nice sounding exhaust in the C5 to get it to sound good.
This car is stock as can be from the air filter element to the exhaust tips.
