Default I'mmmm BACK!

Well after a DISASTROUS year things are finally turning back around for me. I had a horrible wreck at the end of February in my 551rwhp z06 with 500 miles on it that totally destroyed me and i'm very lucky to be alive. I walked away from what should have been a near death experience with 2 scratches on my arm.

After the wreck, I was very skittish and always felt like people were trying to hit me or come into my lane (how the wreck happened). So I got a 2004 Ford Lightning, still sporty... but a little more metal around me. Long story short, that truck is awesome and probably one of the few fords I'd drive, but i'd definitely NEVER buy one again. I had it for 2 months and with $700 a month gas bills... I was quick to ****** up my new (to me) 2003 Z06... I take delivery tommorow i think, but everything is looking good! I can't WAIT to be back behind the wheel of one of America's greatest sports cars!

This is the only picture I have right now, but I can assure you there will be plenty more!

Welcome back. I'd be a little cautious too after an experience like you had. Congrats on getting another Z06.

I know what your speaking about I too had a crash last year in my C4 it had flipped and landed on the top (glass roof) in the canyon after a spin out on a bad patch of road.

I also was able to walk away from the crash with minor cuts and bruises. it actually was a freak accident(too many details! for now)

Another forum member bought it and picked it up one day and the same day I bought my C5!

BUT! I too was very skiddish and it took a while for me to settle down and feel comfortable behind the wheel of the new Vette.

Now almost a year later and I am having a head and cam build w/full exhaust! Can't wait!

Be safe and enjoy the new ride!

Thanks,Matt

Here are some pictures of my disturbing disaster. I dont think it'll buff out. And before you ask, there are to many details to post right now, so don't ask what happened.

Holy Glad you're ok, that looks bad. I also had an accident last year but I could have been luckier.

But things will just get better from now on. Just move on and start having fun with your new Z. Be careful
