When I was a kid every time I would get thrown off a horse my Dad would tell me to get right back on and try again. Glad to see your going to climb back on.

Well thats the idea! I've actually fallen off a horse too! But i'm from Texas, go figure.
From the sounds of some of your posts, my guess is you "might" have been doing something you are ashamed of. Regardless of what it is, we have ALL done stupid **** in our cars (and life in general)
I remember last year when I had my 12 year old in the car and we were blasting down this street. It had kind of a bend to it, so when I was on the gas I could feel the rear wheels pitching sideways. This went on for about 300 yards. After we laughed about it, I realized that had I lost traction completely, I would have ended up hitting a lightpole in the center divider. I could have very easily killed my oldest son. It still haunts me to this day thinking about what I did.
We ALL do stupid stuff in our cars (even the 67y/o guys who drive 64mph on a 65mph freeway). Sometimes God teaches us a lesson, and sometimes he doesnt.
But "IF" you were doing something EXTREMELY stupid, dont be ashamed about taking your lashings. Because it WILL put meaning to what you did, and possibly even prevent it from happening to someone else.
I may be waaayyyyy off base, but just thought you should know.

Thank you very much, and yes it was very stupid and i AM ashamed of what happened. I ruined an incredible car but I also put many peoples lives at risk in the process, and THAT is by FAR more important and what scares me.
I see people that weave in and out of traffic now only 10-15 mph faster than the flow and i think how incredibly stupid i was for even being "that guy" before the accident.
Like i said, i'll think about posting the story, but i know i will catch alot of flaq for the stupidity.
From looking at the pictures of your former car and some of the comments you have made I understand your relunctance to discuss them on a public forum. I think that is a wise choice given the possible repercussions.
Hope you learned a valuable lesson that you will take to heart. I am somewhat dense and it took a few times before I learned my lessons. Luckily, no other cars were involved and no one was hurt. Was a little reckless as a youth, if you know what I mean.

That is one reason why I haven't.

Totally know what you mean.
Problem #1.
I do remember my passenger (female) giggling the faster we got going...
I have pulled dead people out of cars that didn't look that bad. I think you had someone looking out for you to walk away with only scratches. Glad to have you back enjoy.
