so I go down to the garage to get in the car and go home. As I'm walking to the car, I notice a piece of trim is laying against the column next to my car. I get a little closer, and see that it looks like a BSM. A little more worried, I get closer and I see that it's pewter. Now I'm thinking 
. The piece is about 18" long. I look at the driver side, and all seems fine. So I slowly walk to the passenger side, not knowing what to expect, and the car was fine.
I guess the trim was from someone else's car.
