Default Ruff Wheels

Well, I have read quite a few posts on here regarding Ruff wheels, commonly available on that well know auction site.

None of the posts really conclusively stated whether these wheels would fit and what the quality is like.

I took order of a set of Ruff 280, 19"X8.5J" +35, 20"X10J +45.

Fitted 245/35/19's to the front and 285/30/20's to the rear.

I am 100% pleased with these wheels, yes they may be a little heavier than some wheels out there on the market but they are not a great deal heavier than the polished thin spokes they have replaced (maybe due to the lighter tyres as there is much less sidewall than standard sizes?)

Had several people shout complimentory things at me whilst driving in the sun.

If you are looking for a set of reasonably priced wheels you cannot go to far wrong with these.

I have been told that the offsets are incorrect as is the stud pattern, well I can tell you that these wheels fit perfectly!

Wheels look great. But someone needs to put that fat cat into place , to make sure it doesn't climb the car anymore.

Got them from OEM Wheels, Miami, Florida.

Tel: 303 597 0111

Talk to Adriano, (mention I put you in touch, Corvettecentral from the UK) he did me a great deal, and I had them with me in the UK 4 days later.

Lets see some pics when you get them.

These are one of the best looking wheels I have seen for the Corvette.

Guys.......THE CAT....

It's my cat and I really don't mind him on the car, he has never caused any damage to it.

Can't keep him off (None of the usual remarks, .44 caliber etc!! please).
With it being black, it gets nice and warm and they just love the heat.

A cat will generally only scratch your paint if you try to scare it off, that's when the claws come out, other than that they will do no harm.

I've seen pictures of women sitting on the hood etc.........now that's terrible

Mike,

I liked the 278's, however they only make them upto 19" and I really wanted 20"'s on the rear.

Again I hear all those comments about ride quality issues etc, so far all I can say is that the ride has improved, handling greatly so!.

I'm still taking it easy to ensure that I do not hit any large potholes in the road but aprt from that there are no issues, certainly not with clearance.

My car is lowered on stock bolts and I still have plenty of clearance.

Would love to see some pics when you get them on the car

Just got mine, but have not mounted them.

It is cloudy and raining outside so the lights are from my garage

I have a small issue with 2 of the wheels and waiting for a response.

See where the paint goes past the edge here

It does not do that on the other 2, its a nice crisp line

I have emailed pics to the vendor to see, If i can get some money back and clean the paint off myself I may do it. Not sure what I could do though. It does not appear that the lip is clearcoated, would I just get some fine grit paper to clean it up?

This sucks because Discount Tire called and said my tires are in
