Default DRLs, how do you turn them off?

I can' t find anything in my manual about turning off the daytime running lights. Short of pulling a fuse, is there anyway to do it?

Push the button on the that says "options" until you get to the daytime running lights...on. Push reset and that will turn them off. You can also change your alarm from horn & lights to lights only, etc.

The only way is to pull the fuse or do that relay mod (search).

The DRLs cannot be disabled though the DIC Options. The links below speak in detail to the 2 methods gpracer1 mentions:

How to disable DRL

I chose the relay mod. No DRL's yet I keep all the other "approach" features. Four years and all is GREAT!

I had to do the DRL mod as amber markers are illegal in UK for normal running.

I started with pulling the A2 fuse but finally did the relay mod. You'll end up with 2 DIC warnings B0502 and B0507 IIRC but the approach feature works with the relay mod whereas with the fuse pull the back up lights don't work using the approach feature. They work fine as back up lights.

A plus is that you shouldn't have as many bulb failures.
