We use them all the time at the track. We only use them for removal. The one that we have doesn't have a torque setting so we torque by hand. Also, as the battery drains, they get weaker.
Further, watch the wheel so you don't scratch the finish of the wheel around the lug nuts.
yup ,several 24V brands have over 200ft-lb of torque. That is more than adequate.
I only use them on stock lugs, not on the chrome ones for shows.
as above only for removal and spinning them back on.... I use a torque wrench for final tightening.
I have a 28 volt Milwaukee that has awesome torque and will remove any lug nut I have tried including tractors. Be careful though if you have chrome lug nuts as the chrome will flake off by using an impact gun. I only remove the lug nuts with mine and still torque down by hand with torque wrench.

Same here- I use the Goodyear one all the time at the track. Works FANTASTIC!

It was $20 I think.
I made the mistake of buying two of those since they were on sale and I still have yet to get a lug off with it! Switched to the Goodyear one and NEVER looked back!

Mine's had the wheels off about 7 or 8 times. Guess I got a good one

I'll PM you when it quits
Keep in mind it is the same with tools as with cars. You can buy a cheap ricer and have yourself a car or you can buy a Corvette and have a sports car.
