96VIPERGTS Challange ACCEPTED!
96VIPERGTS your challenge is accepted, I am in Orlando Flordia with the car right now for the next few days. I will return this Tuesday. We will have two parts to the drag race to satisfy all the talking that has been going on. First part street tires “no drag radials” will be on the motor three-¼ mile races best out of those three wins. Second part street tires “no drag radials” three runs with Nitrous Oxide no more than a 100 shot per car equaling the playing field. I as well would like to run a viper that the motor as not been cracked on, if the engine has no mods on your car I have no problem with the bolt ons. I just shot you an email. This friday I am driving down to Orlando to get the nitrous system dyno tuned at BTR Motorsports. Not too long after that I am going to Carolina Dragway in Jackson SC to see how the car does. We can either street race at a VERY secure location here in town or wait until we go to Jackson in early NOV.
All Others: As soon as Sean and I get the details I will be sure to post them on this thread. Hopefully some of the local corvette guys can come out and maybe make a night of it. Sounds like the makings of a really great night. Hope everyone that is able will show up.

Garry thanks for the e-mail I think we will plan for the Nov 17th date. I am trying to fix a check engine light that will not go away due to TTS longtube headers not letting my 02 sensors warm up. Anyway, anyone who is wanting to attend just think of it as a fun day for all to come to. Garry I have one question about your car, did you change out the rear end gear?

PS-Why not Atlanta Dragway in Commerce? I'm not too wild about Jackson's strip, plus Commerce should be closer for Optic. Either way, its not my show :) Just tryin to make life easier. Looking forward to it. :cheers:

Where can I buy the heated 02sensors, please do tell my car has lost 7 hp to the wheels with the headers. Do you know if this will fix the problem?

Just a word of advice, make sure your Z06 is running perfect and get your launch techniques down. That viper is FAST. 10-12+ car lengths against my Vert(not a zo6), but my vert is pretty quick(6-speed). The main thing is that viper really hooks up. Killed my out of the line and never let up. I will try to make it to the event also.
