I've done a lot of moding over the past 7 years, both on my own car & others. Without doubt the most regrettable was the gauge rings. 1) it takes about 3 & one half hours to do, and one really has to take a bunch of stuff apart that really was NEVER intended to be taken apart. (First clue that this is NOT a good mod) 2) now after three years those that we installed are starting to fall off. I don't believe the gel super glue used was ever intended to be used in the interior of a car that in summer time can reach unbeliveable temps. If you have done it, you just can't go back to stock, as the glue ruins the OEM gauges side trim, so ya gotta put them back on. If you are considering doing them, trust me, DON'T, they will come back to haunt several years down the road.

Great thanks for the heads up. It was on my mod list, but I will reconsider.

I disagree. I love the gauge rings. It's the first line of defense in attempt at making the interior better. Mine's been on over 3 years now and still looks awesome.
BTW, *MY* most regrettable mod was buying the Black Motorsports with Toyo Tires. The set cost me about $2200 and I ended up switching to CCW's a couple weeks later. I ended up selling the almost new wheels&tires for ~$800 (best offer I could find) so took a $1400 hit on them. Still hurts when I think about it.
You will love them until they fall out & you have over 3 hours to fix them, My point was (none have fell out of my car, but the car is garaged most of the time) & yes I followed the directs to the "T", again I don't believe the gel super glue can stand the extreme heat that the interiors receive. I always love the look or would not have "done" them in my car or two others, but having said that, I would not do again for the reasons above. Cheers.

Actually, the mod to the mod is to use a silver (or choose your color) Paint pen available at craft stores instead of the glue on method. I think Stangkiller did this.
I have had my dash apart twice at this point to re-glue on different pieces that fell off.
I love the look, but looking back - would have rather painted it.. I guess the paint method can still be used if you decide to take them off, but the residue may make it look crappy.
I called the vendor about this, and they said the supplier stopped supplying glue for these, as they were getting complaints about it.
I am more upset that the supplier does not supply an effective glue and forces the consumer to purchase "super glue" and they are on their own with the results.
for that reason alone, i would not purchase another set.

i've heard about this, can someone find some pictures?

this might sound odd, but number 1: Hood seal not that I expected power gains but the damn thing never did stick no matter what
2- Doing heads& cam instead of just doing a Blower. While I did pick up 100RWHP (410hp) and my car runs fne,,, After the money/time cost of labor I would have been better off just doing a blower and been done with it.
I love the look of my bezels. Although it is more work (and I've had to redo it twice now), it only takes about 45 minutes to disassemble and reinstall everything. In 3.5 hours, you could have the entire dash + airbags and steering wheel removed and still have time for a few beer breaks... While I agree that painted looks better than stock, it doesn't look nearly as nice as the aluminum ones IMO.
